When handling standard trucks, all three segments of the telescopic lip automatically extend to rest on the lorry bed, providing a full width of 1,950 mm. In this configuration, the dock leveller offers a load capacity of up to 60 kN. The PTU is electrically and hydraulically operated at the push of a button. Once the lip is precisely positioned on the lorry bed, the leveller adjusts to the vehicle's height changes during loading or unloading (automatic floating position).

The PTU dock leveller is fully compliant with the European standard EN 1398.

A key feature of this dock leveller is its segmented (three-part) telescopic lip. Depending on the type of vehicle at the dock, operators can select the appropriate mode using the control unit. For vans, only the central 1,200 mm section of the telescopic lip is extended, offering a load capacity of 20 kN. Thanks to the PTU's innovative design, the weight placed on the van is hydraulically reduced to approximately 100 kg.
