Project Spotlight: Elevating Efficiency and Safety with a Full-Scale Refurbishment

We are thrilled to showcase a recently completed refurbishment project where our team provided an end-to-end solution—from initial design to final installation. This project highlights our commitment to delivering high-performance industrial access solutions that prioritize thermal efficiency, security, and seamless site logic.

The Scope of Work

Our brief was comprehensive, requiring a complete overhaul of the facility's existing access points. The project was divided into four key delivery phases:

  • Design & Manufacture: Tailoring 10 Insulated Sectional Overhead Doors and 10 Steel Fire Exit Doors to the specific dimensions and structural requirements of the site.

  • Safe Dismantle: Before the new era could begin, our specialist team managed the safe removal and disposal of all existing door systems, ensuring zero disruption to the surrounding infrastructure.

  • Supply & Installation: Delivering and fitting 10 Sectional Doors, 10 Fire Exits, and 4 high-durability Retractable Dock Shelters.

Engineering Thermal Excellence

In today’s industrial landscape, energy retention is more than a "nice-to-have"—it’s a financial and environmental necessity. This project utilized products engineered for superior insulation.

High-impact flexibility

The U-Value measures the rate of heat transfer through a structure. The lower the number, the better the insulation. By installing doors with these impressive ratings, we’ve significantly reduced the facility's thermal bridging, helping the client maintain a stable internal climate and lower energy overheads.

Enhanced Loading Bay Performance

To complement the new sectional doors, we installed 4 Retractable Dock Shelters. These are designed to create a tight seal between the building and the vehicle during loading.

The "retractable" design is a game-changer for site longevity; if a vehicle misaligns during docking, the shelter frames simply retract rather than sustaining structural damage. This ensures the loading bay remains operational and weather-protected even in high-traffic environments.

Safety First: Fire Exit Solutions

Safety is non-negotiable. Our Steel Fire Exit Doors don't just offer an impressive 1.6 W/m2K thermal rating; they provide a robust, secure, and compliant means of escape. Built to withstand heavy use while providing a formidable barrier against the elements, these doors ensure the facility meets the highest modern safety standards.

Is your facility ready for a performance upgrade? Whether you are looking to improve your site’s U-Values or need a complete loading bay overhaul, our team is ready to design a solution that fits.
